Regional Bargaining Report #14

CWA District 1/IBEW Local 2213 and IBEW New England Regional Teams met with the Company today at the Rye Town Hilton in Rye, NY. Discussions centered on Absence. It was apparent to your bargaining Committee that Verizon did not come to the table to have a serious discussion. Management was strongly reminded that the contract expires in a little more than a week and that the time for them to get serious is NOW!!!

Regional Bargaining Report # 13: Don't Miss the Virtual Town Hall on Wednesday

CWA District 1/IBEW Local 2213 Regional and Local Bargaining Teams met with the Company today at the Rye Town Hilton in Rye, NY. The Regional Committee presented their Health Care proposal, together with a detailed plan to rein in the spiraling cost of benefits, while at the same time, improving the quality of care received. Discussions are scheduled to resume tomorrow morning.

Regional Bargaining Report # 10: Wednesday July 20, 2011

CWA District 1, IBEW Local 2213 and IBEW New England Local and Regional Bargaining Committees resumed negotiations with Verizon at the Ryetown Hilton in Rye, NY today. The Unions received some answers to questions raised at previous sessions but are waiting additional responses. The Company has not yet responded to any of the Unions bargaining proposals. Local Bargaining tables continued to meet throughout the day and into this evening. Discussions at all tables will resume tomorrow.

Regional Bargaining Report 9: Get Ready to Rally

CWA District 1, IBEW Local 2213 and IBEW New England Local and Regional Bargaining Committees resumed negotiations with Verizon at the Ryetown Hilton in Rye, NY today. The committees presented additional union proposals. The committees also pressed the company for answers on questions from previous session. The company will be providing some of those answers tomorrow. The Company has not responded to any of our proposals at the Regional table. Discussions will resume tomorrow.
