Unions representing 362,000 essential workers will endorse together for a Pro-Worker NYC Council Majority

Under the name #LaborStrong2021, the unions -- SEIU 32BJ, CWA, DC37, HTC and NYSNA -- will be endorsing together for the first time ever at least 26 City Council candidates, and supporting them in an effort to elect a pro-worker majority so the next City Council can develop and promote policies for a worker-led recovery for our city.

Labor Committee votes to protect call center jobs in Connecticut

The Communication Workers of America issued the following statement in response to the Labor Committee vote today to pass H.B. 5273, a bill that seeks to place limits on call center off-shoring in Connecticut. The bill passed with nine Democrats and X Republicans voting in favor.
