CWA Contract with AT&T Extended for Mobility Workers

The Communications Workers of America and AT&T have agreed to extend two contracts covering 24,000 technicians, call center customer support workers and representatives at AT&T's retail stores in 45 states, the District of Columbia, and the Virgin Islands. The “Orange” contract was set to expire on February 11, 2021 and the “Black” contract was set to expire on February 10, 2022. Each contract will be extended by one year

Unions representing 362,000 essential workers will endorse together for a Pro-Worker NYC Council Majority

Under the name #LaborStrong2021, the unions -- SEIU 32BJ, CWA, DC37, HTC and NYSNA -- will be endorsing together for the first time ever at least 26 City Council candidates, and supporting them in an effort to elect a pro-worker majority so the next City Council can develop and promote policies for a worker-led recovery for our city.
