Workers at T-Mobile USA have launched a campaign to gain union representation by CWA, but they are meeting stiff resistance from T-Mobile?s parent company, Deutsche Telekom. A growing number of members of the U.S. Congress have expressed concern about Deutsche Telekom's behavior. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) recently wrote a letter to Deutsche Telekom CEO Rene Obermann demanding that Deutsche Telekom grant its workers in the United States the freedom to choose to form a union.

We March on Washington for Job Creation and Job Security

Thousands of CWAers from District One made the journey to Washington, DC for one of the largest demonstrations Washington has ever seen, last Saturday, October 2. Union members, Civil Rights activists, environmentalists, and hundreds of other progressive organizations came together on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial to demand good jobs and a fair society that works for all Americans.
