CWA Releases Radio Ads Slamming Verizon For Failing to Deliver FiOS

CWA has released a series of seven radio ads slamming Verizon?s failure to build out universal FiOS broadband across the East Coast. The 30-second ads began running Wednesday across NYC/New Jersey, Upstate New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and Delaware.

Verizon Regional Bargaining Report #23

The CWA District 1, IBEW Local 2213 and IBEW New England Regional Committees met with the Company today on an informal basis to continue discussion on issues involving Flexibility. As the clock keeps ticking toward expiration, the Company will not even engage in honest, informal discussions around difficult issues that both parties need addressed even though we have tried to engage them in these discussions.
