Update on Bargaining with Verizon in 2026

Our current collective bargaining agreements with Verizon expire on August 1, 2026. 

Verizon, CWA, and IBEW have agreed to meet beginning in January for a limited period to explore the possibility of a contract extension. 

CWA and IBEW remain focused on our members’ priorities and will provide an update on the outcome of these discussions.
