Solidarity with Energy Utility Workers

CWA Local 1104 rallied on Long Island, NY on March 22nd to support IBEW Local 1049 in their fight for a fair contract with energy-provider National Grid! National Grid is a primary supplier of electricity and gas in the Northeast - our houses stay lit and warm because of the hard work that IBEW members do every day.
On March 29th IBEW Local 1049 came to a tentative agreement with the company, within hours of the contract expiration and narrowly avoiding a strike.
