Shop Stewards Training + Mobilization = CWAers Ready to Fight for Our Union

CWA Local 1038’s New Stewards Training hit a range of vital topics, from grievance handling to internal organizing to political action - and internal organizing. While most of these stewards’ worksites are over 90% members, everyone left the training with a renewed mission to grow and strengthen the union and ensure that every coworker understands the importance of having an informed, engaged membership ready to take action. This is the key to our union power in our worksites, at the bargaining table, and in our communities!

Elsewhere in New Jersey, CWA 1033 Shop Stewards kept up their recent momentum on March 19 with a day of engaging with coworkers, answering member questions, and signing up non-members to join the union!
