Primary Elections Coming Up Across District 1; Make Your Plan to Vote

As the COVID-19 crisis continues, it’s more important than ever before to elect true pro-worker candidates to office to ensure that our voices are heard and our needs are met. Make sure you’re aware of election deadlines coming up and any changes to voting procedures in your state:

Connecticut

  • August 6: Deadline to register to vote in the Primary Election

  • August 10: Deadline to request an absentee ballot

  • August 11: Primary Election Day; deadline to return absentee ballot

 

Maine

  • June 22: Deadline to register to vote in the Primary Election

  • July 14: Primary Election Day; deadline to request and return absentee ballot

 

Massachusetts

  • August 12: Deadline to register to vote in the Primary Election

  • August 31: Deadline to request an absentee ballot

  • September 1: Primary Election Day; deadline to return an absentee ballot

 

New Hampshire

(Due to COVID-19, all New Hampshire voters are be able to vote absentee by selecting the disability or employment obligation reasons on the application)

  • September 1: Deadline to register to vote in the Primary Election

  • September 7: Deadline to request and to return absentee ballot

  • September 8: Primary Election Day

 

New Jersey

  • June 30: Deadline to apply to vote by mail in the Primary Election

  • July 7th: Primary Election Day; last day to postmark mail-in ballot

 

New York

  • June 23: Primary Election Day

 

Rhode Island

  • June 2: Primary Election Day; deadline to return absentee ballot

 

Vermont
