“We can make real improvements at work when we stick together and mobilize”; Tentative Agreement with AT&T Mobility

On April 24th, After nearly four months of hard bargaining up against a tough company, CWA’s AT&T Mobility Orange Contract Bargaining Team reached a Tentative agreement!
This TA is a result of the hand-in-hand work by the Bargaining Team at the table and the strong mobilization by the membership, which spans several locals in District 1 as well as others across the country, including CWA Locals 1000, 1101, 1170, 1298, and more.
CWAers have been keeping the company’s feet to the fire with ongoing social media campaigns as well as several recent highly public events and actions, including running digital billboard trucks and handing out flyers outside of the AT&T Block Party at the March Madness Music Festival in Indianapolis, IN to tell the public about the company’s corporate greed and stalling at the bargaining table.
Highlights of the Tentative Agreement include a robust benefits package, industry-leading wage increases, and more. You can read the full summary of the agreement here.
