CWAers Say HELL NO to Dismantling the US Postal Service!
After years of severe underfunding and a slow rollback of service, full-out attacks on the United States Postal Service have been launched in an attempt to fully dismantle and privatize the public service. Working families have relied on the Post Office for more than 250 years, and these threats are part of a much larger-scale attack on working people, federal workers, and unions. On March 22nd and 23rd, the National Association of Letter Carriers held rallies throughout the country to say HELL NO to dismantling the USPS and dismissing government workers. CWA Locals 1036, 1118, and 1120 joined rallies in New Jersey and New York along with thousands of others to support our union siblings and tell elected officials that the Post Office belongs to the people - not the billionaires!
