CWAers Pack the Room to Fight Back Against Healthcare Rate Hikes in NJ

The New Jersey State budget session ended without action on CWA’s bill to reform the governance and transparency of the State Health Benefits Plan and put a stop to skyrocketing healthcare costs — but the fight isn’t over, and we’re not taking our foot off the gas.
On July 8, CWA members from locals throughout New Jersey rallied and marched to the State Health Benefits Commission meeting before packing the room to tell the State that working people should not foot the bill for runaway healthcare costs while hospitals and insurance companies jack up prices and escape accountability!
