CWA Members in New Jersey March for Women's Rights, Canvas to Re-Elect Governor Murphy

CWA Local 1037 members were out in force on October 2nd in Montclair, NJ to join the New Jersey Women's March. After marching, CWAers canvassed the town to speak with voters about the upcoming election on November 2nd.

Four years ago, CWA endorsed Governor Murphy because we believed that he would stand with workers and fight for the needs of working families - and he’s delivered.

Governor Murphy kept his promises to CWA and New Jersey’s working families:

1) He fulfilled his promise to make the required pension payment – which no governor in either party has done in a quarter-century.

2) He lived up to his pledge to fairly negotiate contracts that addressed the cost of healthcare.

3) He's made good on his word to protect good union jobs in New Jersey.
