Many of these fights weren't easy. In fact, some of our endorsed candidates were under attack by a super PAC funded by hedge-fund profiteers and Alice Walton, heiress to the Wal-Mart fortune. The PAC is going after public school advocates and pushing to send pro-charter school candidates to Albany, but we fought back and won.
CWA endorsed-candidates lost in the 33rd Assembly District (Nantasha Williams), the 31st State Senate District (Micah Lasher), and the 40th State Senate District (Andrew Falk).
We are proud of CWA Local 1103 members for working so hard for Andy who is a fierce advocate for the issues that matter to working people.
Please join us to make sure the right candidates win in November. Click here to volunteer.
