AT&T Mobility Orange Contract 2017 Bargaining: Report 17

The Union and the Company met today and the Company opened the meeting by outright rejecting many of our proposals including Job Security and also continued to state that they have no interest in bargaining commissions for Retail Stores, Cricket Stores and Tele-sales employees.

They rejected our Benefit proposal and continue to demand that employees pay about one third of the cost of their healthcare. They rejected our Absence proposal and continue to demand additional “wait days” before being paid.

The Union continues to demand the end to their unfair, unjust attendance policy. There was no love shown by this GREEDY Corporation on this Valentine’s Day for their employees who have built this Company into what it is today. Our membership is the reason why this is a profitable Company, not the inadequate managers they have on the payroll.

Your Bargaining Team informed the Company that there will be NO agreement reached in this round of bargaining without our key issues being addressed. We will be here as long as it takes and do whatever it takes to ensure those issues are cared for. Continue to scale up your mobilization efforts to let AT&T Mobility know we are all in this together! If you haven’t gotten involved up to this point, STAND UP and GET INVOLVED!

It’s YOUR future we are fighting for. Stay strong Sisters and Brothers!!
