March for the 99%: Schedule and Rally Flyers

Day 1, Thursday, November 10th
Albany to Stuyvesant, 20 miles:

• 10:00am March Kick-off Rally at the Verizon Building at 158 State Street, Albany (across from State Capitol Building, near the Occupy Albany encampment) Download the Flyer
• 5:30pm Arrival in Stuyvesant – Marchers will arrive at 48 Riverview Street in Stuyvesant (post office).

Day Two, Friday, November 11th
Stuyvesant to Hudson to Catskill, 17 miles:

• 9:00am Departure from Stuyvesant – 48 Riverview Street.
• 12 Noon – Rally near Verizon Wireless store in Hudson, located at 462 Fairview Avenue.
• 5:00pm – Arrival in Catskillat Catskill Town Hall located at 439 Main Street.

Day 3, Saturday, November 12th
Catskill to Kingston, 20 miles:

9:00 am Departure from Catskill Town Hall located at 439 Main Street.

5:00 pm Arrival and Rally near Verizon Wireless Store in Kingston – located at 1200 Ulster Avenue.

Day 4, Sunday, November 13th
Kingston to Poughkeepsie to Wappingers Falls, 27 Miles: 

9:00 amRally and Departure from nearby Kingston Verizon Wireless Store located at 1200 Ulster Avenue

Daytime – March will pass through Poughkeepsie, joining Occupy Poughkeepsie, and also greeting and getting support from CWA members who work at Vassar College.

5:00 pmArrival and Rally near Verizon Wireless and Verizon FiOS Stores in Wappingers Falls, located at 1839 South Road

Day 5, Monday, November 14th
Wappingers Falls to Peekskill, 25 Miles

9:00 am Departure from Wappingers Falls – March will resume from 1839 South Road.

5:00 pm Arrival and Rally at Verizon Garage in Peekskill/Cortland Manor – Garage is located on the corner of Crompond Road and Arlo Lane. Download the Flyer

Day 6, Tuesday, November 15th
Peeksill to Tarrytown, 18 Miles:

10:00 am Departure from Verizon Garage in Peekskill/Cortland Manor – March will resume from Verizon garage located on the corner of Crompond Road and Arlo Lane.

5:00 pm Arrival and Rally near Verizon Wireless dealer in Tarrytown – located at 15 North Broadway.

Day 7, Wednesday, November 16th
Tarrytown to the Bronx, 17 Miles:

10:00 am Departure from Tarrytown – March will resume from near the Verizon Wireless authorized dealer located at 15 North Broadway.

Bronx to Lower Manhattan
Join Massive Protests in Lower Manhattan, 12 Miles:

4:00 – 5:00 pm: CWA members will Informational Picket at Verizon Headquarters at 140 West Street. Download the Flyer

5:00 pm: CWA Members March from 140 West Street to Join “We are the 99!” Protest at Foley Square - large numbers of Verizon workers will join the protest.

5:00 pm: Albany Marchers Arrive at either 140 West St. or Foley Square for the Massive “We are the 99!” Protest (exact march route TBD)
