Report: Verizon is a Tax Dodger

A new report from Citizens for Tax Justice shows that Verizon paid a negative 2.9% effective Federal tax rate during the 3 year 2008 - 2010 period. In other words, not only did Verizon pay less than any person who pays Federal income tax over those 3 years, but also the company got massive tax benefits to the tune of $951 million. Meanwhile, the company attacks middle class jobs. American taxpayers should not be subsidizing attacks on workers. Read about the report right here, here and definitely this excellent piece here.
