On August 27, CWA Local 1120 members marched across campus at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY to support their Bargaining Team and demand a fair contract. More than 50 members and allies joined the march. The Marist members were supported by CWA members from Verizon, SEIU, the Hudson Valley Area Labor Federation, Dutchess County Legislator Kari Rieser, and Councilman Tracey Herman.

CWA Local 1120 has represented the administrative staff at Marist College for almost 30 years, fighting for good wages, health care coverage, a safe work environment and, most of all, respect from the employer.

The students at Marist College benefit from having skilled, professional, hard-working CWA members assist them with their needs on a daily basis.

Some of the major issues at the bargaining table are compensation, sick pay, and retiree healthcare.

The Bargaining Team for Marist is:
Frank Fauci-President CWA Local 1120
Jim Gescheidle -Executive Vice President
