With nearly all of the votes in the 2021 NYC Primary Election counted, we can now declare victory in several key races that CWAers threw down on this year and worked for months to help win:
Brad Lander, a close friend to CWA for over a decade and fierce champion for working people, has won his primary for Comptroller.
Nearly 30 strong, pro-labor candidates won their primaries for City Council seats, including:
Shaun Abreu, District 7 (Manhattan)
Carmen de la Rosa, District 10 (Manhattan)
Marjorie Velazquez, District 13 (Bronx)
Pierina Sanchez, District 14 (Bronx)
Tiffany Caban, District 22 (Queens)
