Women's History Month Spotlight: Karen Leemou, CWA Local 1101

Get ready to roar, folks - this week's Women's History Month Spotlight is Karen Leemou, Staff Assistant from CWA Local 1101! Karen is a 27-year employee of Verizon who handles several entities within the local including call center workers and the casino workers.

For two decades, Karen has been the unstoppable force fighting for union employees. She's a committee powerhouse, a picket line queen, and the proud owner of "Lucy" the megaphone that strikes fear into the hearts of injustice.

When she's not busy saving jobs from going overseas (and getting you to call your legislators!), she's championing equity and empowering women. Oh, and did we mention she's a supermom to three incredible kids?
