CWA Local 1400 Ratifies Solid New Contract for Town of Westford Workers

After several months of bargaining, CWA Local 1400 came to a Tentative Agreement this month on a new 3-year contract for workers for the Town of Westford in Westford, MA. The new agreement includes:

  • Wage increases each year of the contract, with retroactive increase back to July 1st, 2025
  • Additional increases for Public Safety Telecommunicators in 2025 and 2026
  • Increase to Longevity Bonus
  • New Licensed Water Technician Title
  • Monthly phone allowance for employees who opt to use their own phone instead of the Town’s
  • Increased Vacation Time: An additional 1-5 day annual increase based on years of service
