CWA Local 1040 Members Organize for Health & Safety, Ready to Improve Workplaces
In March CWA Local 1040 held a three-day Occupational Health & Safety (OSHA) training with CWA’s Deputy Director of Occupational Safety and Health Micki Seigel de Hernandez. The training brought 1040 members together to learn more about OSHA requirements and how to keep one another safe on the job - one member called the training “life changing.” The training group will serve as Local 1040’s Health and Safety Team, ready to go to worksites for inspections and holding labor management meetings to ensure that our membership is safe at work always!
