VERIZON BARGAINING UPDATE: READY TO STRIKE

CWA Local 1101 out on 129 Street in New York City determined to win fair contracts.

If Verizon doesn't start bargaining fairly, and this means now, we're prepared to strike. Bargaining can't just be about the company's needs.

Tell your managers that the company needs to back off concessions on pensions, job security, contracting, Family Leave, and Sickness and Accident Disability. They also must negotiate a fair first contract with Verizon Wireless retail workers and a fair contract for the Verizon Wireless techs.

If Verizon doesn't move at the table, we will be on strike. Get Ready.
