CWA District 1 Announces Endorsement in NY-26 Special Election
Union Backing Tim Kennedy for Higgins Seat
NEW YORK - Following the announcement of a Special Election by Governor Kathy Hochul on April 30th to fill the vacant seat in Congressional District 26, CWA District 1 announced today their endorsement of NY State Senator Tim Kennedy to fill the open seat, citing his strong track record of legislative achievements and commitment to New York's working families.
“No one has been a stronger champion for working families or the communities of Western New York than Tim Kennedy," said Dennis G. Trainor, Vice President, CWA District 1.
