As we know, voting is already underway in many states throughout the country, including both in-person Early Voting and mail-in voting. While we’re used to seeing a victor declared on Election Night shortly after polls close throughout the country, the reality is that it's almost certain that we won't know the outcome of this election until a few days later - or possibly longer.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we're expecting an unprecedented vote-by-mail turnout this year. In many states, the deadline to submit ballots requires they be postmarked by November 3rd and received within several days after Election Day - meaning ballots will still be coming into election offices even after the physical polls have closed.

We know this race will be tight right through the finish line, and we also know that there has never been a more important election in any of our lifetimes. Every voter deserves to have their voice heard. So we must ensure that every single vote is counted!
