Online Event Tonight for NYC Residents: Learn About Our New Voting Procedures
This year, NYC voters will be going to the polls with a brand new (and exciting) voting system: Ranked Choice Voting. This year, instead of picking just one candidate on your ballot, we'll have the option to rank candidates in order of preference - this will make our elections more fair and democratic, and save the city money.
How does it work? How does it make our elections more fair? Join us for an online info session this evening to find out!
We’re hosting an info session with Ranked Choice Voting experts today, Tuesday, April 27th, at 6pm to learn more about this new system and how it works, and get some tools to share with others to make sure our city is ready by Primary Day to rank our vote!
