NJ GETTING READY TO MAKE POLITICAL WAVES IN 2020

New Jersey CWA members are gearing up for 2020 with a Political Action Fund drive to make sure that we can help elect a strong crop of pro-worker candidates in the coming months.

Since electing Phil Murphy as Governor of New Jersey, we’ve already seen the huge and direct impact that our elected leaders have on our jobs and day-to-day lives. Under Governor Murphy we've bargained two contracts for State workers in one year, secured retro pay, raised the state minimum wage, and more for workers. The difference between Murphy’s administration and that of his predecessor, Chris Christie, is like day and night, and shows just how important it is for us to elect legislators who will truly fight for workers.

One of the best tools we have is our Political Action Fund, so we’re getting ready to make that fund even more robust! We know that the fight in 2020 is going to be huge, and New Jersey CWAers are going to be ready.
