CWAers Take Part in the New York African American Day Parade
CWA District 1 members participated in the 53rd annual New York City African American Day Parade, which was held in person after being streamed virtually the past two years. CWAers from Locals 1101, 1102, 1106, 1109, and 1180 joined the celebration, as well as CWA Vice President for Public, Healthcare, and Education Workers Margaret Cook. During the parade, CWA was proud to honor CWA Local 1101 Chief Steward Zeke Cousins, who passed away in 2020, and loved the parade and worked every year to build Local 1101's involvement in the event.
