ACTION ALERT! RALLY TO STOP CLIMATE CHANGE

Young people all over the world are organizing to ensure a future planet that is livable for everyone — join us this Friday to stand with them!

We’re joining the Global School Walkout and Strike this Friday, September 20th, to stand with those young people fighting for the future, because the climate crisis is an immediate threat to our kids' futures as well as a threat to labor and unions in particular. Rising temperatures and increasingly volatile weather puts workers at more and more risk, and there are no jobs at all on a dead planet.

We must demand action on climate change, because climate issues are labor issues!

In NYC: 

12pm Rally in Foley Square followed by a march to Battery Park (we’ll be meeting at the NE corner of Worth & Lafayette near Foley Square starting at noon)

3pm – 5pm Rally in Battery Park followed by speeches from key climate leaders and activists (we’ll be meeting in the NE mid-area of Battery Park's main lawn area starting at 3 pm)

In Buffalo: 2pm, Niagara Square
