AT&T Connecticut Bargaining Report #1

 

The CWA Local 1298 Bargaining Committee met with AT&T Labor  Relations today and based on information previously shared by the  AT&T committee, fully expected to dive into the issues that are important to bringing in an agreement in a timely manner.   Working  together to reach a timely agreement is an issue that the company  highlighted during their opening statements. Instead, the company  presented the union with contract clean up that was insignificant to the  heart of why we are at the bargaining table.    In addition, we were very  surprised and disappointed to hear from our counterparts that AT&T  presented real issues in their proposals at the bargaining table in  District 9.   CWA Local 1298 will be back at the bargaining table in  Meriden CT tomorrow in hopes of moving forward.   Thank You All For Your Support!
