Local 1180 Audubon Society Workers Petition and Rally for Earth Day

On Friday, April 22nd CWA Local 1180 members at the National Audubon Society held a rally at the organization’s headquarters in Manhattan to gather petition signatures and demand a fair contract and end to union-busting!
Audubon Society workers voted in September to join CWA Local 1180, overcoming a tough anti-union campaign from the employer who hired a union-busting law firm, denied workers’ request for a rapid election, and refused to agree to neutrality. The unit of over 130 workers includes graphic designers, editors, data specialists, IT professionals, grant specialists, program managers, researchers, and others.
