Local 1101 Retirees Mobilize for IUE-CWA Members

Our IUE-CWA sisters & brothers - and the US overall - have seen hundreds of thousands of GE jobs wiped out since 1989, many in recent years by financial predators & hedge funds.
Last week the CWA Local 1101 Retired Members Council was out in force at 667 Madison Ave in Manhattan to support IUE-CWA workers, talking to community members and demand from GE: REINVEST IN AMERICA! Their message to GE Board Members: Don't break up GE and feed it to the hedge funds. Build up GE so it can manufacture wind turbines in NY for NY, creating clean energy and good union jobs.
