CWA Reaches Tentative Agreement with AT&T East
The Communications Workers of America (CWA) District 1’s bargaining team has reached a tentative agreement with AT&T East, District 1 Vice President Dennis Trainor reported.
The tentative four-year settlement covers nearly 200 workers. It provides for pay raises, improvements in severance benefits, continued affordable healthcare and other improvements for AT&T East workers in Connecticut.
Vice President Trainor said, “CWA District 1’s bargaining team has been committed to reaching a fair and just agreement. This agreement achieves those goals.”
Highlights of the proposed contract will be shared with Local 1298 members tomorrow and a contract explanation and ratification meeting will be scheduled in the upcoming days.
