Internet speeds are measured in megabits per second (mbps). The higher the number of mbps a network can transmit, the faster/better the connection.

DSL (DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER LINE)

  • Speeds are slow and fluctuate (most often between 10 and 40 mbps) and...
  • Service only available to those who live close to the providers Central Office

CABLE MODEM
