Janus V AFSCME- What's next

The US Supreme Court attempted to undermine the sustainability of Unions by issuing an unfavorable decision in Janus V. AFSCME; which held that forcing non-members to pay an agency fee for representation violated their 1st Amendment rights.  This was a well-funded attack, not conducted by those seeking to advance free speech, but by coprorate interests seeking to destabilize worker's rights.

Make no mistake, this is not a death knell to organized labor.  This just means we have to remain more unified than ever.  The attempt is to divide and depress wages and benefits, but if we unify and strengthen our power, we can come out even stronger.
