NEW JERSEY CWAers TRAINING TO MAKE HUGE ORGANIZING WAVES

CWA Local 1040 Organizing Committee and Local 1088 Stewards joined CWA District 1 staff for two day-long organizing trainings earlier this month. The training focused on sharpening our internal organizing and representation skills including the Five Step Organizing Conversation. Organizing Committee members practiced roleplays to sign up non-members, new hires and PAF contributors. Local 1040 president Carolyn Wade and Local 1088 president Pat Self asked stewards and organizers to return to their work sites to work on these important union-building tasks.
