Doing Whatever It Takes To Protect Our Pension
On May 12, CWA members in New Jersey are standing up and fighting back against Governor Christie’s plan to bankrupt the retirement funds for hundreds of thousands of public workers in New Jersey.
If the state continues on Chris Christie's path, the state worker pension fund will run out of money in nine years, placing the retirement and job security of every public worker in New Jersey at risk. Watch the video:
Come out to Trenton, NJ on May 12th at:
- 10 am in front of the Superior Courthouse for our lawsuit on pension funding for FY2016.
- 12 noon rally at the State House.
We will demand the Legislature pass a budget that includes the full and legally-required pension payment. Governor Christie must obey the law and fund the pension!
