CWAers Running for Public Office

Working people know better than anyone what working people need, and the New Jersey State AFL-CIO is working to support union members running for office so we can ensure that our voices are heard. Two CWA 1033 members, Jessica O'Connor and Adam Bierman, participated in this year’s NJ AFL-CIO Labor Candidate's School to learn more about the electoral process and how to build a solid campaign as a union candidate.
Including Jessica and Adam, there are five CWA members running for offices throughout District 1 this year.

- Jessica O’Connor, CWA Local 1033, running for Palmyra Council*
- Adam Bierman, CWA Local 1033, running for Princeton Board of Education

- Joseph Hiles, CWA Local 1085, running for Mayor of Woodstown
