CWAers Fighting to Protect the Affordable Connectivity Program and Keep Our Communities Connected!

With threats to the vital Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) looming, CWA Local 1101’s Pam Galpern and CWA Local 1104’s Nick Hoh joined a press conference on the steps of NYC City Hall on March 18th alongside Congressmembers Yvette Clark and Grace Meng, and other elected officials and labor and community groups to urge immediate action to preserve the ACP!
The ACP has been vital in bringing affordable, reliable broadband to underserved communities and creating more work and good paying jobs for our members. Now more than ever we know that broadband is an essential service, and we need to help keep our communities connected!
