CWA MEMBERS JOIN OTHER UNION MEMBERS FOR A THOUGHTFUL DISCUSSION ON RACE AND THE POWER OF THE LABOR MOVEMENT

On February 24th CWA members were invited to join a great discussion with author Heather McGhee, alongside hundreds of other union members and hosted by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
Heather McGhee’s book, The Sum of Us: What Racism Cost Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together is now a New York Times bestseller. It details her journey across the U.S. as she interviewed workers and explored connections between the American economy - an economy that often fails working people - and racism, and how defeating racism positively impacts the labor movement.
