Bringing Their Membership Together: Local 1040 Unity Days
Over the last several weeks, CWA Local 1040 has been holding “Unity Days” at their members’ worksites throughout New Jersey. These events bring together members and coworkers to socialize, discuss workplace issues, and share information - which is especially important right now with contract negotiations between CWA and the State of New Jersey for a new contract covering New Jersey state workers.
“We know that our strength comes in our collective power and our Unity Days provide the perfect outlet for us to build that power,” Local 1040 wrote of the importance of their Unity Days.
