Bargaining Updates: Local 1084 Camden County Board of Social Services

CWA Local 1084 members at the Camden County Board of Social Services held a HUGE, impromptu action on March 20 to show that they mean business as they gear up their contract negotiations.

With just ten minutes’ notice, roughly 200 CWAers packed the room (and spilled out into the hall) during a County meeting to show their strength and solidarity. 1084 President Stephen Johnson spoke about the need for a truly transformative contract to reduce the crushing costs of healthcare and create pay equity before presenting a petition signed by over 92% of the bargaining unit to the County Board.
