Action Alert: Fighting for Worker Power

We have a chance right now to pass legislation that will dramatically improve union rights for workers throughout the country and lift up working families.
The Protecting the Right to Organize Act (or PRO Act) would make it easier to join unions, protect strikes and other protest activity, deal a blow to anti-union “right-to-work” laws, and a lot more. It's been passed by the House of Representatives, but we need to go all out right now to get it done in the Senate.
Tomorrow - Wednesday, April 28th - we’re calling voters to bring attention to the PRO Act and encourage people to call their Senators urging them to support workers and pass the PRO Act. Click here to help us reach out to CWAers and encourage them to advocate with their Senators!
Want to learn more about the PRO Act, how it will impact workers, and what we need to do to make it a reality? Click here to sign up for our next District 1 Webinar for an in-depth look at this historic piece of legislation and CWA’s action plan.
