Leslie Danks Burke for NY State Senate

Leslie Danks Burke has our back. She walked with us on the Verizon strike picket line for good jobs for our families and communities. Her opponent was nowhere to be found.

We're proud to vote for Leslie on the Working Families Party line on November 8. 

Leslie Danks-Burke will fight for working people by:

• Fighting corruption in politics: Leslie supports comprehensive campaign finance reform, including a ban on pensions for politicians who break the law and end the practice of legislators holding outside jobs that put private interests ahead of voters.
• Fighting for good jobs: Leslie supports CWA’s efforts to build FiOS across New York that will create good jobs and build broadband infrastructure for all communities.  She stood with us in the fight against corporate greed during the Verizon strike multiple times.
• Taking on Wall Street: Leslie will fight to make sure Wall Street and Big Banks are held accountable and pay their fair share of taxes, which are funds we can use for our schools, roads, hospital and other crucial community services.
